A versatile suspending lure ideal for triggering bites from lethargic cold-water bass, the Deps Balisong Minnow Jerkbait performs several functions that make it extremely effective from Fall into the early Spring. With a steady retrieve, the Balisong Minnow creates unique rolling movements with wide high-pitched action that turns the bait nearly sideways as it cuts through the water column. When twitches or jerks are added, the variable balance system encourages sharp erratic movements, and the lure creates enticing clicking sounds that mimic baitfish.
On the pause, the Deps Balisong Minnow Jerkbait quivers with a natural forward-leaning posture, and the rotating front hook hangar helps reduce line snags during the retrieve. The internal structure has been redesigned with a large moving weight to provide a stabilized trajectory, outstanding casting distance, and improved rolling action after it locks into place.
