The new Steez SV Light TW 100 introduces anglers to Japanese craftsmanship engineered for peak casting performance, amplified sensitivity, and lasting smoothness.

Daiwa’s ULTIMATE CASTING DESIGN makes its debut within the Steez SV Light TW 100. Four critical technologies work simultaneously to increase casting distance, master spool braking to prevent backlash, and improve accuracy. Alleviating anglers the painstaking task of calibrating the reel for casting, ZERO ADJUST cast control is permanently set to the optimal spool freedom. The only adjustment for lure weight, wind conditions or non-aerodynamic lures is done solely with the MAGFORCE dial on the palm side of the reel. The MAGFORCE is perfectly balanced to prevent backlash while increasing casting distance and low-trajectory for stealthy water entry. TWS, Daiwa’s T-WING line guide reduces line-friction during casting, increasing casting distance and accuracy. Finally, its G1 Duralumin SV BOOST spool is of the highest grade and strength but incredibly light, so light that its low mass instantly slows from spinning after the lure decelerates during a cast, thus preventing backlashes. While its light-weight nature helps prevent backlash, the SV BOOST System interacts with the magnetic braking system to extend casting distance farther than other reels.

AUTOMATIC TOURNAMENT DRAG
The Advanced Tournament Drag system is made from high density woven carbon impregnated with specially designed grease, creating a smooth and fluid high performance drag.

G1 SPOOL
G1 Duralumin is 1.3 times stronger than standard aircraft grade aluminum, and 2 times stronger than magnesium. With precision machining, this dramatically reduces the weight of spool yet maintaining proper strength without drilling holes into the spool.

TWS
Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle and minimal friction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.
