While fished on a jighead, use a slack line and subtly shake your rod tip to create natural swim action, as the flat sides produce a heavy body roll that creates a unique flashing effect to grab the attention of nearby bass.

For fishing near structure, a weightless Texas-rig is recommended, as bass simply can't resist the deadly shimmying action that occurs when the Versa Pintail falls slowly through the water column near heavy cover.
