The NEW G-Ratt 2.0 Glide Baits are an upgrade of the original proven fish-catching baits. They utilize the same slow-sink rate as the original with an improved appearance that draws out and converts more bites from trophy-caliber bass. Built to supply a smooth side-to-side gliding action on a slow and steady retrieve, the 2.0 Glide Baits offer more realism on the pause to capture attention and then generate aggressive reaction strikes with a twitch of the rod. Perfectly balanced for a seductive swimming action at any speed, the 2.0 Glide Baits can be burned and reeled fast for an excellent fleeing baitfish imitation.

Designed with a subtle knocking sound to call fish in from great distances, the 2.0 Glide Baits employ a custom-molded soft-rubber tail for added realism with tight tolerances that can be replaced if desired. Equipped with rotating hook hangers and sticky-sharp BKK treble hooks for high-percentage hook-up ratios, the G-Ratt 2.0 Glide Baits are offered in three trusted sizes with sculpted gill plates and natural-looking 3D eyes for a realistic big prey imitation.

G-Ratt Baits Pistol Pete is a scaled-down version of Sneaky Pete. Coming complete with strong components, rotating hook hangers and 3X hooks to ensure you land more fish!

Pistol Pete is weighted with steel bearings to produce a nice rattling sound to help enhance that big bite!
When reeled slowly you won’t find an easier bait to fish with a smoother glide, pick up the reel speed to imitate a fleeing baitfish. The bait will stop when pause and then slowly sink in a level position.

G-Ratt Baits Sneaky Pete is a slow sinking bait. This is a very unique glide bait. You can slow retrieve it for a nice gliding action. You can swoop the rod tip for the bait to glide to one side and pause and swoop again to bring it back to the other side.
A favorite retrieve is reel cranking it to make a very fast darting action back and forth like a fleeing baitfish. You can do little twitches of the rod with just the tip of the rod while reeling and the baits head will rock left to right which will imitate a swimming baitfish.
The bait can also be “waked” on a slow retrieve when brought to the surface. It has a beautiful tight subtle rolling wake which we’ve found effective early mornings and late evenings. Our new weighting system adds a realistic rattling sound.

This bait has a slow sinking ratio of 1 foot in 2-3 seconds. The Sneaky Pete comes equipped with two size 1 hooks. The hooks can be changed if desired. The tails are easily replaceable.

Does a variety of glidebait movements very well

I just got my first V2.0 in Sneaky size, bone color. Three Rivers is awesome at service and shipping. It’s too cold for largemouth bass fishing right now (late November) where I live, but I had to give it a good tryout for action before full winter. The paint and quality are both very good on these. It’s the bone we like in the USA as not being too white or too yellow (JDM “bone” lures are often bright white). Mine weighed in at 2.88 ounces in spite of the package listing it at 2.5. I’m actually glad about this as my rod is spot-on rated for casting 3.0 ounces. If you have a rod that maxes out lower, beware of this discrepancy. This is the best casting glidebait I’ve ever tried. I was laying it where intended at longer distances. The sink rate on these might be a little faster than their ratings in warm water as it was near the faster-end in cold/thick water. The thunk of the big weights moving a little is definitely noticeable.

Where I was most impressed with this bait was it action being excellent to good across the common glidebait retrieves or movements. It’s got a very nice, fairly level “S” action on straight reeling. The extra length over the more common 6.5-7” baits was noticeable in a good way. It still chopped well with reel turns and quick pauses. Some shorter and lighter glidebaits in my box turn cleaner and faster, as physics dictate they should. I don’t know if this will be a factor in catching fish when walking around tighter cover with the crisper action of the 6.5” baits versus the greater drawing power of Sneaky Pete’s 8” size.

Sneaky 2.0 responds very nicely to short rod sweeps or back pulls. It likes retrieves with twitches, responding with slight rolls like an injured fish and then quickly righting itself. Kill movements were a little less instant than with some lighter glides, especially a resin offering that’s over three times more expensive. In summary, Sneaky 2.0 hits a very nice slot in glidebaits for throwing a fairly wide “S” and then performing the actions used to turn follows into strikes. I like being able to work it deeper. That’s a big deal in some of our local waters. The Steve Kennedy version probably kills and suspends lots better while no doubt giving up some depth.
