The lip provided on the head reduces the moving distance by receiving water resistance, making it easier to control the range (swimming layer), and also plays the role of converting the input from rod operation into rolling action.

Used in combination with Umbrella Rigs is perfect because it has buoyancy, keeping the entire rig horizontal increasing the power to attract fish by making the rig stable and natural looking in the water column.

The Jackall Driftfry 4.0 was one of the go-to baits utilized by Kyoya Fujita during his first-place finish at the 2024 Bassmaster Elite Series at Toledo Bend and pairs perfectly with the hover-strolling technique that Fujita has become well known for.

Fixed with a unique soft-plastic bill that’s designed to keep the bait consistently at depth and create an easy rolling action, the Driftfry 4.0 has two holes for easy jig hook and nail weight rigging for even weight distribution when fished vertically.
