The NEW Jackall Maekon Jr is a mono-flex jointed wakebait.

By increasing the freedom of the front body, the action response is dramatically improved, while the rear body performs a delayed action, enabling time-lagged roll actions and enticing movements at pinpoint spots. Additionally, it achieves lively action during straight retrieves.

When an action is input, the front body responds quickly and begins moving, while the rear body starts the action with a delay. The rear body acts as a brake, enabling guidance at points with minimal movement. We pursue a balance that allows a wide input area for actions. It is designed to respond nimbly to weak actions and to be resistant to failure when strong actions are applied.

When simply reeling, it produces a powerful wobble action similar to that of a Magnum crank. Thanks to the Monoflex Joint System, which increases the degree of freedom between the front and rear of the body, it achieves a light and smooth reeling feel that is unexpected for its size.

The MAEKON Jr. SF has a relatively light body weight of about 1 oz, providing excellent handling when casting. Additionally, since it does not require gear dedicated to big baits, it has become easier to incorporate it as one of the strategies for shore fishing and the like.
