Currently, many straight worms exist, and they are designed to be versatile and compatible with various rigs. However, when it comes to the Neko rig, and specifically focusing on getting bites, the need for a specially designed straight worm becomes apparent. By deliberately designing it specifically for the Neko rig, its ability to attract and get bites has been elevated to an overwhelming level, making it the new standard for next-generation Neko rigs.
Have you ever tried using a Neko Rig after hearing it was effective, only to find you didn't catch anything, or even lost the battle? One reason for the difference in catch rates is the vibrations the lure generates. The HP3D-Wacky generates vibrations that make the entire body seem to be shaking. This is made even more complex by its twin-tail structure, which is similar to the tufted effect of a straight worm, and it can even make wary bass bite.
The basic way to use it is as a Neko rig, inserting a slightly heavy nail sinker of about 2-3g into the head to produce a strong shaking vibration, and using a guarded trout hook or an offset trout hook embedded in the worm. It responds to shaking on the bottom and shaking during the fall, shaking as it falls. In addition, it vibrates rapidly as if writhing in agony during swimming action, and with a lantern shake (shaking while hanging from cover), it generates a 3D action that entices bass to bite.
The HP3D-Wacky was created to explore new frontiers in Nekorig. You simply have to experience its capabilities.
Shivering Waves
When dealing with wary bass, unnatural actions can sometimes be seen through. On the other hand, bass are often strongly attracted to the vibrations of the entire body trembling in a consistent rhythm, leading to bites. We have carefully considered not only the shape but also the repulsive force and salt content of the material that forms the engine of the Neko rig, and have created a vibration that bass love.
3D Action
While a typical straight worm lantern shake involves the worm swaying up and down to attract bass, the HP3D-Wacky generates different water displacements from its body and tail, causing it to slide and fall irregularly in three dimensions, pivoting around the point of suspension. It creates action in all directions, much like multiple earthworms playing together, enticing bass to bite.
Straight twin tails without ribs or tapering
While many Neko Rig worms have their action spoiled because they can't transmit the vibrations generated on the body to the tail end, this design eliminates tapers and ribs to ensure that the vibrations are properly transmitted to the tip of the tail.
Hook Set Marker
A raised marker is installed to facilitate hook setting that maximizes performance. This allows for accurate and quick rigging of wacky rigs for neko rigs, or offset type neko rig hooks where the hook is embedded in the worm. When set with the marker rotated 90°, the straight twin tails are arranged vertically, creating a different action.
