Raid Japan Ghost Wire Umbrella Rig

The Ghost Wire series Umbrella Rigs are equipped with lightweight resin blades on all wires other than the main arm. The blades rotate quickly and even at dead slow, making it easier to maintain a horizontal posture similar to that of a swimming fish. In addition, the unique "transparency" of resin realizes a glossiness that can be mistaken for a school of small baitfish.

The Ghost Wire series can be used in a variety of settings, such as the One Hook Alabama, Shad Alabama, and Bamast settings, but the introduction of the Ghost Wire Next Level has further improved the fish-attracting and feeding capabilities. In particular, the "Fish Roller Bamast" specification, which is equipped with a 3-inch or 4-inch Fish Roller, is characterized by its presence, which can appeal to fish hiding in rough conditions such as muddy water and waves, or in structures such as weeds and bushes, by creating a large school of small fish and drawing them out through obstacles.

In order to realize the "lightness" that is the greatest feature of the Ghost Wire series, the "GHOST WIRE NEXT LEVEL" also uses a main 1.2mm/sub 0.9mm arm. It is overwhelmingly lighter than other Alabama rigs that use 7 arms, making it easy to "drift slowly through the water", which is the core of Bamast.

It is possible to use the plastic blade to set up a 7-fish roller for the Bamast model, or remove the blade and set up a 13-fish roller for the Bamast model. This is the setup that allows the Ghost Wire, which is specialized for "lightness" and "slow drifting through the water," to exert its maximum power.

We recommend using heavy-class bait tackle with thick lines. Therefore, please use hooks with as thick a shaft as possible.

Storage: It can be stored compactly in the included case, making the Alabama Rig surprisingly easy to carry and store.

Precautions for use

The GHOST WIRE series prioritizes "lightness" and "slow drifting in the water" = catching fish, and uses a thinner wire than conventional Alabama rigs. Please understand that if you repeatedly bend and stretch the wire or use it repeatedly with a heavy lure or rig attached, it may break due to metal fatigue. The same applies if you catch many fish.

When bending the wire, do not force it by hand, but use a pliers or similar.

The blade is made of resin. It may break if it is subjected to strong load or impact.

To prevent damage or breakage as much as possible, please avoid pulling it out when landing, trying to remove the lure by shaking the rod, and slamming the lure on the water surface.
