Born and raised on the shores of Nanairo Dam, Kazufumi Yamaoka, a legendary angler with a reputation for his strength in reservoirs, has secretly used a technique called the Fuwa Fuwa Rig. Now, it has been renamed "Hover Strolling" and all its secrets are being revealed! The PDL Super Hovering Fish was developed with the assumption that it would be used with this new method, commonly known as "Hover Strolling."

The body design moves subtly with every shake. The shape amplifies the rolling motion of the minnow and transmits it to the tail, so "even the slightest movement causes the tail to move." Furthermore, the hollow structure of the body creates high-appeal flashing. The three pintails give the lure a lifelike appearance that will entice bass that might otherwise see through the lure at the last moment to bite. It will even get bites from fish that you couldn't get with the 3-inch size.

This rig is created by inserting an L-shaped hook into the top of the worm and inserting an extremely light nail sinker from the tip. By setting it with a lighter weight than a typical jig head, it is a technique that allows the lure to drift in the mid-water column while minimizing the distance it travels at a constant depth. While creating a state close to suspending, it can also be appealed to with a high-pitch shake, bringing in elements such as "getting the fish's attention, making them anxious, attracting them, and getting them to bite," and is a technique that entices fish to react by slowly working in the mid-water column.
