Valley Hill Jaco-Bee Q

While existing Jaco-Bee lures are made of a firmer material intended for use with jig heads, the "Q Series" uses a softer material to accommodate drop shot and neko rigs. Looking at major lakes in eastern Japan, such as the Fuji Five Lakes, Sagami Lake, Kameyama Lake, Takataki Lake, Kasumigaura, Hibara Lake, and Nojiri Lake, the use of trout hooks and offset hooks is high in many of them. Jaco-Bee lures were developed with jig heads in mind, and the material was selected to prevent tearing and to produce the ideal action. When using the firmer Jaco-Bee lures with trout hooks or offset hooks, the hooking rate was poor and the catch rate was lower compared to using them with jig heads where the hook point is exposed.

The new Jaco-Bee Q series worm solves this problem, optimizes swimming, shaking, and fall speed when used with drop shots, and adjusts to have just the right amount of water resistance to be retrieved along the bottom when using a neko rig. The color lineup includes "shad-type colors, such as those representing smelt, which are prey for bass in the east," and "shrimp-type colors, such as those representing shrimp and gobies." Furthermore, the alluring lure's buoyancy, achieved through hand-poured construction, was tested on numerous samples and selected by the target bass.
